Loving Vegas -Going There Without the "Money" Worries

Posted in: travel » 0 Reviews       Posted by POP Editors on October 1, 2011

Your life will never be complete until you visit Sin City… Vegas. Live shows, museums, fine dining, designer boutiques and casinos abound the Strip, you will literally lose your breath when you get there! But, like any other working class citizen (you!), this “sinful” vacation needs planning and of course, you are taking it on a tightened budget. Yes, you are taking it! Vegas is not expensive; you just have to be resourceful.

Fun at the Hotels

Vegas will offer you only the best of accommodations at the most excellent price, if you know where to look. Lasvegas.com site has connections to these wonderful hotels. Take a look at these two hotels which offer up to 60% off in price:

Las Vegas Club Hotel and Casino will give you their spacious rooms at 40% off the first night. 50% off on the second night and 60% off if you stay for more than 3 days. This is a spectacular 2-star hotel located at Fremont Street in Downtown Vegas. You can have your stay there for as low as $18. Just mention the Up to 60% Off Your Stay promo upon reservation.

Days Inn Las Vegas situated at Tropicana Avenue has a different pitch. If you take their Up to 30% Off Your Stay plus Free Breakfast, you will be saving on your breakfast for every day that you stay there plus 30% off on your room from Sunday to Thursday. The more days you stay the more discounts you get.

These offers are valid until December 29, 2011 for travel starting today.

Fun Everywhere!

Vegas is not only about making money in the casino. There are ways to enjoy the city without spending a dime in entrance fees and such. Here are some ideas on what to do:

M&M’s World (Las Vegas Boulevard) – If you are a chocolate lover, this is heaven!
Fashion Show Mall (Las Vegas Boulevard) – Go to the mall and watch models strut in latest fashions, just like Fashion Week in Milan and New York!
Show in the Sky (Flamingo Road) – Dancing is so much fun in Masquerade Village and you can be a part of it (the show!) at $12.95 but free if you just want to watch the spectacle.
Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo (Las Vegas Boulevard) – This is a tropical habitat for 300 birds, koi and turtles; soothing and relaxing to bond with animals, right?
Fountains at Bellagio (Las Vegas Boulevard) – Thinking about Brad Pitt and his team in Ocean’s 11? This is the best part of Vegas and it is absolutely free!

You can also take the free shuttles to get around Vegas. Hotels provide these at no extra cost for you. So, go where your feet will take you!

Going to Vegas!

If you are going to Vegas via railway, check for offers from Amtrak. Luxbus America will give you a view if you ride with them too. You can also drive to Vegas but be sure to compute the cost of your gas and travel expenses from your city to LV plus the fact that you will be very tired on the road. You can also see if there are cheap airfares at Expedia, Orbitz or TripAdvisor. Southwest Airlines is recommended most by travellers to Vegas, though.

So you see you do not have to spend a month’s worth of your salary just to go to Vegas. With all the fun things to do for free and the super low-priced suites, you can have a marvellous time at Sin City for less. So, plan, plan, plan!!!
